We met Robin on the Viking Ocean Cruise in the Mediterranean in late May 2018.  We were on the tour of Passau together and we enjoyed the lovely scenery as we walked through the village, saw the sardines cooking on a huge outdoor grill and climbed a path to view the beautiful scenery.   She really seemed to be enjoying the cruise.

To the family - we are so sorry for your loss.  Even in such a short time we knew her, we enjoyed her warmth and kind manner.  Robin and her family are in our thoughts and prayers.  

Robin and I met at the CA pool in Wilde Lake, perhaps in 2011. I was not one of the regulars or even a dedicated swimmer, but Robin made me feel like one of the gang, even including me in swimmers' brunches at her home. She was a warm, open, and enthusiastic person.  I am so very sorry to hear of her untimely death, and I wish all of her family  comfort and peace. 

My most profound sympathies to you all. I have fond memories of Robin from when we were girls. It's no surprise that she became the loving adult that she was, devoted to family and the protection of defenseless animals. Please know that I am thinking of you and sending you wishes for peace and only warm memories of your beloved Robin over time. 

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Robins passing. My heart goes out to her family.  I met Robin at Temple Isaiah when she helped to set up for my 3 daughters Bat Mitzvahs.  She was so kind and sweet. I remember having long talks with her in the kitchen. She will be missed.

Words cannot express my sadness upon hearing of Robin’s passing. I knew her from the Hilton and Honor Flight Arizona. We are there 10 times a year with our Veterans and Robin was always there to greet us with a smile on her face! She was a lovely woman and really loved the Veterans. I am honored to have known her and send thoughts and prayers to her husband, children and grandchildren. 

one of my fondest memories would be  my first time camping.went with Robin and her family to an island in Lake George.What a wonderful time with a wonderful family! Then there was the many bike rides Robin and I took thru Schenectady ,and to the tennis courts of Central Park.Your personality and infectious laugh will be missed but always remembered.

I sent this to Robin’s cell on Tuesday  because I didn’t know where/ how to express how I was feeling: 
Ms. Robin,
I’m writing this with a broken heart and a lack of appropriate words. But I’m writing this to who I would absolutely call a friend. In the very short time that we have know each other I’ve had nothing but admiration for your love of life and the spunky,honest, take-me-for-who- I-am lady that I met at my doorstep just a few weeks ago when you came to meet some rescue puppies. (Pic attached) I have RE read our texts 100 times today and sincerely miss our recent daily conversations. You said we were 2 peas in a pod (except I could have been ur daughter since there is a a slight age difference between us.) You adore your children and have the utmost respect for your husband. And u had a sweet conversation with one of my 5 daughters about being bi-racial and shared pics of your beautiful grand baby boy with us. I quickly connected with your life experiences(we both ran a home daycare, we both worked in hospitality; you for Hilton, I for Marriott) and the dogs! The dogs are magic and ulitimtely it’s why our paths crossed. Some people just cross your path for a reason and you don’t know why until you know why....I don’t understand what happened. I can’t even wrap my head around it. So I’ll just pray for your family and friends...who were the center of your universe. I cannot thank your daughter enough for her kind words to me. The flowers u brought me are still on my kitchen counter...I love you my friend.... and like you told me ‘thank you for being you!’💔

My sister Deb and myself grew up with Susan and Robin in Schenectady NY.  We could walk to each other’s houses,...in fact my first “sleepover “was there. Robin and I shared many chicken legs  together while we dieted  until we found those delicious “diet”cookies that her parents imported from New York!!  I was so envious when the family went to Africa!  I so shared her love of dogs and so loved herPeggy the Basset and Freckles  the Spaniel!  So many wonderful memories while growing  up in a small town. Even though we went our separate ways we would always pick  up where we left off when reunited! The  Tepper girls always called me Lynnie.  When ever someone  calls me Lynnie My first thought is of dear Robin and Susan. My heart sends you ALL my deepest sympathy. . May her memory be a blessing.. I hope you can feel my love and tight hugs from Boston Xxoo. Lynne 

I was introduced to Robin in 1990/91 while I was in high school on my first job at the Columbia Inn, she was a awesome person and always super nice to me.  She helped and touched my life more than she could have ever known!  Robin thanks for the time you took out of your day to talk, joke with, and just for the advice you gave me.   Like I said it might’ve been been just a small gesture to you, but to a young impressionable kid like myself it meant everything!
