She was pre-deceased by her husband Herbert Kaufman and is survived by her 4 children, Martin Kaufman (Ellyn), Stephen Kaufman (Maureen), Robin Tash (Howard) and Jill Lyons (Ronald), her 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Gerry served the community in numerous ways through teaching dance, choreography and fund-raising endeavors. She adored working with children.
