On Monday July 20, 2015, Sarvilla Pope of Gaithersburg, MD, native of Baltimore, MD passed away at home. Beloved wife of Edward A. Pope; mother of Lisa (Edward) Richardson and Leslie K. Pope; grandmother of Elise and Eddie Richardson; sister of Marguerite Diggs, Annette Hardy, Diane Covington and Charles Thomas, Jr.; also survived by her aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Clinton A.M.E. Zion Church, 223 Elizabeth Avenue, Rockville, MD from 10 am until 11:15 am.The funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Interment on Monday, July 27, 2015 in Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Garrison Forest, Owings Mills, MD at 10 am. Memorial contributions may be made to Morgan State University Foundation, Inc., 1700 E.
