Stanley Schmulewitz, a retired Federal Communications Commission employee, passed away on February 6, 2026. He was 90. Born October 15, 1935, in the Bronx, New York, Schmulewitz, held a B.A. from the City College of New York. He worked as a civil servant for the Department of the Navy in New York and Washington, DC., before moving to the FCC in the 1970s where he spent the remainder of his career.
He is survived by his niece Janet Cohen and her husband, Norman; his nephew Harold Schmulowitz and his wife, Kim; grandnephews Andrew and John and grandnieces Alison and Lily. A graveside service will be held February 9, 11 am, at the Oheb Shalom Memorial Park, 430 Berrymans Lane, Reisterstown, MD.
