Violet M Jones

Violet was born September 14,1923 in Pittsburgh PA. She attended Etna High School in Etna,PA. After graduating she worked at Meadow Gold Dairies and the American Telephone and Telegraph Co in Pittsburgh,PA. Violet loved to bowl an do volunteer work at her church.

Violet was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Elmer W.Jones and her daughter Michele Jones. She is survived by daughter Cheryl Keeney and son in law Roger of Kearneysville,WV, daughter Darlene Prejean of Berlin,Md. Grandchildren Scott Breeden and Jade Esty of Hagerstown MD, Tara Weissend and husband Gary of Tuscarora,MD. Five great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews and sister in law Annetta Lang of Pittsburgh, PA.

Family and friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD where services will be held Saturday, November 15,2025 at 9:30AM with Pastor James Knisley officiating. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park 12800 Veirs Mill Rd., Rockville, MD. at 11:30PM.
