Wona Charlotte Bryan

Wona Charlotte Bryan passed away at the age of 88 on 4/6/2020, at Casey House, Rockville, MD from congestive heart failure. Wona was born in Waynesburg, PA to Arthur & Muriel Sagges (deceased). She attended Cumberland Township High School, Carmichaels, PA and was a member of the National Honor Society.

She worked after high school at the U.S. Patent Office in Washington, DC. On 9/29/1951 in West Lanham Hills, MD she married Wesley Adelbert Bryan who passed away 6/1999. She helped run Bryan Moving & Storage, in Beltsville, MD for over 40 years.

She was a fighter having survived many adversities in life including a horrific automobile accident back in 1996.

She lived in her Silver Spring, MD home for 55 years, and previously Berwyn Heights, MD and Greenbelt, MD.

She is survived by her 3 children Vicky Lynn Rogerson and husband William of Delray Beach, FL, Karen Jean Bryan of Chicago, IL, and Allan A. Bryan and wife Carol of Greencastle, PA, and survived by her 4 grandchildren Jason Aubrey and wife Christina of Chicago, IL, and Christine Aubrey of Chicago, IL, Joshua Aubrey of Joplin, MO, and Christopher Bryan of Greencastle, PA.

She is survived by her sister Mona Ellis of New Carrollton, MD, many nieces and nephews and close friend William Ray Harrell of Beltsville, MD for over 50 years.

She is predeceased by her sisters Arlene Brown and Vida Skipper, brothers Reicks Sagges and Harold Sagges.
