Yin Ting Moy, 87, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Soo Ming Moy; loving mother of Nancy (Cleveland) Yee, Susan (King) Lee, and John (Shuk) Moy; cherished grandmother of Ryan (Mariko) Lee, Amanda (John) Lee, Samantha (Alex) Silva, Kevin (Cathy) Lee, Daniel Yee, Eric Lee, and Sarah Moy; and cherished great grandmother of Sakura, Maria, Ariel, and Sasha Yin.
Born in Canton, China in 1935, Yin Ting Moy immigrated to the United States in 1960 to join her family. She became a long-term resident of Maryland. She worked as a cosmetologist into her late 70s. She loved life, traveling, and socializing. She loved to sing, dance, play mahjong, and give people joy. Friends and family were important to her. She brought love and happiness to many people.
Family will receive friends at the Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD on Monday, September 19, 2022, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 20, from 11am to 12 pm, with interment to follow at George Washington Cemetery, 9500 Riggs Rd, Adelphi, MD.
