Yvonne Cecelia Stamos

Born on June 7, 1926 in Bronx, NY, Yvonne was the first of four daughters born to Joseph and Esther Domena. She was the last surviving sibling.

Yvonne married the love of her life, the late Nicholas Stamos, on March 4, 1944. They were married for 70 years and blessed with five children: Ted (Lily) Stamos, John (Nora) Stamos, the late Peter Stamos, Maria Papagjika, Bill (Stephanie) Stamos.

She was the beloved Yiayia Eva to seven grandchildren: Dena Stamos, Niko Stamos, Maria (Chrissy) Stamos, Jennifer (Ferris Bond, Jr.) Stamos, Nicholas (Henry Branscome) Stamos, Anthony Papagjika, Daniel Papagjika; and two precious great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Gianna.

A visitation for Yvonne will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE, SILVER SPRING, MD 20904. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church of Washington DC, 721 Norwood Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20905. A graveside service will occur Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906.
