June Whitney Amaral, born July 2, 1931 in Evanston, IL , died May 23, 2014 in New Port Richey FL. She was 82. Preceded by her parents Jason Franklin Whitney Sr. and June Bandler Whitney and brother Jason F. Whitney Jr. Survived by daughters Holly J. Holmes, Heather Clemow, and Heidi Caine; son Andrew W. Amaral; nephew Jason F. Whitney III; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. June attended Roycemore School in Evanston, IL and Mount Vernon College in Washington D.C. She cared deeply about her family and friends and was an avid animal lover. She was laid to rest June 3, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, IL. Her wit and sense of humor will be deeply missed.
