I was so sorry to hear of Lois's passing.  In the time that I knew her, I was always inspired by her determination and commitment to independence.  I will miss her (and Mittens) a great deal.

Dear Cousins,
I feel really sad to hear about Cousin Lois's passing.  We will all miss her very much.  I remember the greatest gift Lois gave me was when I visited her a few years back and she recalled memories of my dad, her first cousin and what a wonderful person he was.  That really made my day. I am so sorry for your loss.  I've known Lois all of my life, and she has always been very caring towards my family.  She has been a wonderful friend to my grandmother, Beverly Didech.  I know my grandmother will miss her very much.
