My condolences to the Warshawsky's. My father, Sol Weiner,  worked for Mr. Warshawsky for 47 years. He was the manager at the 1900 S. State Street store and was Roy's right hand man. He knew the whole family and thought highly of them. May she rest in peace, joined with her beloved husband and family.

I offer my prayers and condolences for and to Carol and Irene and their families. I met Sarita through my travels with Roy. She was a very sweet person. I believe she was a very generous person and suspect she authored bonuses for all the W&Co. employees when it was sold to a private investor group. I believe God has her in His loving care now.

I just found out about Sarira's passing. The world is truly going to miss her amazing kindness and genuine sweetness.
I am truly at a loss for words.
We spoke in early August and I had left numerous voice messages and emails without any response. I figured she was just being a jet-setter and off on some fun adventure.

My condolence to the Warshawsky family. I was a customer when Warshwasky and Co was on State Street, as was my father before me, going back to the early 1960s. Many great memories going there as a child all the way until it moved to LaSalle-which I still get to now and again.

In life we have to indeed remember those that make us who we become. Your mother will never be forgotten by many. As you know, the both of you and Sarita kept many families employed via the JC Whitney way.........after Roy's passing. Your handling of the JC Whitney legacy in a caring way came from her virtues.
