

She was born November 27, 1937 in Skowhegan, Maine, the daughter of the late Elmer and Irene (York) Corson.
She was educated in Skowhegan Schools.
Bev married David Berry on November 30, 1963 in Skowhegan, Maine.
She spent the majority of her life as a homemaker and caregiver to generations of our family.
She loved family gatherings and cooking her famous dumplings. She had a wonderful sense of humor and always loved to talk about anything which will be greatly missed. She was also a fanatic Yahtzee player and avid reader.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years David Berry of Skowhegan, her only son Frank and his wife Pam of Skowhegan, four wonderful grandchildren Frank of East Madison, Adam and Cory of Skowhegan, and Andrea Munroe and her husband Brandon and her great-grandchildren Aidan James and Camden Scott also of Skowhegan, her siblings; Laura Chapman, Paulette Steward, Patricia Brown and Alice Berry and her husband Raymond, Jane Towle, Chester Corson, and wife Dot, Linda Dwyer and her husband Mike all from Skowhegan, Elmer Corson and wife Joan of Madison, many nieces and nephews .
She was predeceased by her sisters Minnie Patterson and Sheila Corson, and brothers Rodney Corson and Kenneth Corson.
A graveside service will be held Saturday May 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., at East Skowhegan Cemetery in Skowhegan, Maine with the Rev. Mark Tanner officiating.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
