Blanche L. Littlefield

She was born January 24, 1922 in Mapleton, Maine, the daughter of Berton S. Porter and Olive M. (Bagley) Porter.

She graduated from Mapleton High School in the class of 1939.

Blanche had lived at Seton Village in Waterville for the past twenty years and was president of the Resident council there for a few years.

Her pride and joy were her family, whom she dearly loved.

Blanche is survived by her children, Rose Stelter of Oakland, ME, Anne Dsupin and husband John of Ashland, ME, Sandra Hitchcock of Milton, FL, and Steve Robinson and wife Amy of Hephzibah, GA; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Keener, Jodi Massicott, Danny Ouellette, Chris Ouellette, Anne Marie Hitchcock, John Hitchcock, Mark Hitchcock and Daniel Robinson; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Rachel Porter of Hobe Sound, FL; son-in-law, Gus Giesin of Tolland, CT. and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her daughter, Valarie Giesin; her brothers, Carleton Porter, B. Homer Porter, and Ivan Porter; sister-in-law, Peggy Porter; grandson, Harold Ouellette; and son-in-law, Brian Hitchcock.

A graveside service will be held sometime in the spring at the Southside Cemetery in Skowhegan, Maine.

She will be remembered by all who knew her as a caring and loving person.
