

She was born May 18, 1923 in New Sharon, Maine, the daughter of Parker and Zoedella Lane.
Faye graduated from New Sharon High School. She then attended Gates Business School upon graduation she became employed by Central Maine Power in the Augusta office.
She married Herman Redlevske on August 8, 1947, he passed away in 2014.
After marriage, she and her husband resided on the farm in Mercer; she did the bookkeeping for her husband’s business. She was also employed by G.H. Bass in Wilton getting done to care for her father in-law. She also was a child care provider.
She was very active in the Mercer Methodist Church and the Mercer Old Home Days serving on various committees and fundraisers. She was a Sunday school teacher, youth fellowship leader and a Girl Scout Brownie Troop Leader.
She loved to bake and tend her flower gardens. She also enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She was always there to lend a hand to family, friends and community.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and siblings Lester, Chester, and Clifford Brann, Parker Lane, and Della Lane Eller.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Lambert and husband Dennis, Deborah Farley and husband James; grandchildren, Diana Martin and husband Steve and children Breanna and Ryan; Paula Tan and husband Michael and daughters Riley and Adalyn; Matthew Gordon and wife Elizabeth and daughters Amber and Alexandra; Aaron Gordon and wife Chrissy and children Makayla and Aaron Jr., and Megan Gordon.
A Funeral service will be held on Friday March 4, 2016 at 3 p.m. at the Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine and a burial will take place in the spring at the Village Cemetery in New Sharon.
