Donald Eugene Roderick Jr.

He was born September 26, 1977 in Waterville, Maine, the son of Donald E. Roderick Sr., and Beth Marie Austin.

He enjoyed outdoor activities, loved fishing and going snowmobiling. Loved by his faithful companion, his dog, “Abbie”, he also enjoyed the time he spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his siblings; Virginia “Ginny” Roderick, her companion John Massey and her children Zack and Octavia Roderick all of New Haven, CT, Tammy LaBelle of Oakland, Jason Roderick of Waterville; his life partner Nicole Morse of Skowhegan, his uncles, Rocky Austin of Vienna, ME, Harvey Austin Jr. of Skowhegan, special aunt Tammy Rines of Skowhegan; two stepchildren, Jasmin Humphrey of Waterville and Michael Humphrey of Vassalboro, several cousins and the Morse family.

Donald is predeceased by his parents, Donald Roderick Sr. and Beth M. Austin; his grandparents, Harvey and Virginia Austin and his uncle Edward “Snooks” Austin; his aunt Mary Strange and his uncle Peter Roderick, and his nephew John Francis Massey Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday May 5, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine with the burial to follow at the Oak Cemetery, Norridgewock, Maine.

The family would like to invite family and friends to gather following the services for a time of remembrance at the home of his aunt and uncle Harvey and Trisha Austin, 541 E. River Rd., Skowhegan, Maine.
