Donna Marie Leone Keaney

She was born March 2, 1948 in Lowell, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Domenic Leone and Gladys (Marynowski) Leone.

Donna attended and graduated from Billerica Memorial High School in Billerica, Massachusetts in the class of 1965.

She then married Robert Keaney on December 26, 1966 in Billerica, Massachusetts.

While her husband Bob was serving in the U. S. Army, they were stationed in Germany; she worked as a librarian from 1967 thru 1968. She worked at Redington Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan as a Switchboard operator since 1987.

Besides her husband Robert of 43 years, she is survived by her two children; Gretchen Keaney and her fiancé Scott Ballou of Lincolnville Beach, Patrick Keaney and his fiancé Rae McCollor of Newport, three brothers; James Leone and his wife Grace of Virginia, George Leone and his wife Renee of Florida and Machias, Thomas Leone and his wife Jeannie of Billerica, MA, one granddaughter Rebecca Victoria Stoutamyer of Lincolnville Beach, many nieces and nephews and her dog “Mickey”. Viewing hours will be held on Friday March 19, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, a funeral service will be held on Saturday March 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Helen King officiating.
