My heart goes out to Aunt Dot's family during this sad time. I knew she had been ill for a while, but I hope it gives you comfort that she is now reunited with her family. I know she is happy and healthy and enjoying eternal peace alongside my dear "Nana", her sister Cecile. I have so many fond memories of Aunt Dot during my visits to Maine. She was so kind and always made me feel welcome. Although I haven't seen or spoke to her in many years, she was never far from my thoughts. I wish I could have seen her before she passed away to let her know how much she meant to me and my family. Rest in peace Aunt Dot and give my sweet Nana a big hug for me.

I am so sorry to hear about Dottie passing. I know she hasn't been feeling well but I will miss her greatly. I may have not known Dot for all my life but I will not forget her. I could never forget her loving smile and kind ways. I used to tell her how cute she was and I don't usually call residents cute but it fit her so well. When we went on our walks outside she would tell me what the flowers were and how to tend them. I called her my gardening consultant and we would all tease her about wrapping her in bubble wrap to pad her falls. Dot brought a lot of joy to the home and to my life. I cried like a baby when she left the Redington Home because I wouldn't be seeing her as much. She was such a loving happy person and my thoughts and prayers are with her family. I'm sorry for your loss. With love Casey

Aunt Dot, how I will miss you, our shopping sprees, bingo, the good food, all the fun times we shared together. You, will always have a special place in my heart, next to Moms, where I hold her so dear. I wanted so much to see you again, but I will always remember our last visit together and how wonderful it was. I love you.
My prayers are with the family and friends of this lovely lady. Heaven gets another angel.
