She was born July 24, 1945 in Skowhegan, Maine, the daughter of the late Linwood and Irene (Redmond) Trask.
Eileen grew up in Cornville the second of seven children. She lived in Skowhegan and Madison where she worked and raised her children. Once her children were grown she moved to New Hampshire where she lived for a few years before moving to Florida, fulfilling her dream of living in a warm climate. Eileen returned to Maine in 2010 to be with her family again.

She enjoyed quilting, reading, going to flea markets and creating photo albums for family members. Eileen loved the sunshine and enjoyed spending time outside in the warm weather. Family gatherings where everyone played guitars and sang were one of her greatest pleasures. Even though she was separated by distance, Eileen created and managed a family website to keep everyone connected. Family and friends were very important to Eileen.
