I treasure all the time I was able to spend with the Simonoff's and I am remembering fondly today the trips Ely and I took to the top of Table Rock in South Carolina as I did my best to keep up with him.

The trip upward would be the best but in the end we would need to return to the earth below.

Mary and family,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Ely was a super great person. I was fortunate to have gotten to know him through the Rites of Acceptance when we both were both on this journey. I know he will be greatly missed by not only you and your family but also so many others. Hugs to you all.

It was always so uplifting to share our faith with Ely during the RCIA evenings. He was so knowledgeable about the faith and willing to share with us this knowledge. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family, Mary, during this sad time. Hugs! ❤️
