1952 – 2021

Skowhegan – Gailiene Rosalyn Egan, 69, of Skowhegan, Me., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday November 23, 2021 at Redington Fairview Hospital. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 4th 1952, a daughter of the late Faye (Rubenstein) and Matthew Lach. For several years she was a telephone operator for “Ma Bell” before moving up into management. She then became self employed and worked as a Massage Therapist and an On-line Legal Insurance sales associate before retiring several years ago. She enjoyed life in general and had an excellent sense of humor. She was always the “Life” of any party or social gathering.

Gailiene is survived by her husband Stan Tyks and a daughter, Charlene Miranda. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jacob, Katelynn, and Mia Grace and her sister, Rena Parker of Waltham MA.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Paul Kapson who passed away in 2019.
