

She was born June 21, 1931 in Norridgewock, Maine, the daughter of Fred Knights and Susie H. (Berry) Knights.
She was educated in the Norridgewock and Skowhegan Schools.
Lucy worked for Norrwock Shoe Company in Skowhegan as a Stitcher for over 20 years, right up until they closed. She also spent many years as a homemaker and also enjoyed being a seamstress for many years.
She liked to make quilts, sew and knit. And she loved her time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her son Nolan Knights and his wife Sally of Skowhegan, two sisters, Doris Corson of Skowhegan, Joanne Finnemore and her husband Norman of South Hope, six grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother and her father, her son Farrell Knights, her two brothers, Charlie Knights, David Knights, one sister Minerva Halliday.
A viewing will be held on Saturday April 30, 2016 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine, with a funeral to follow the viewing at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Immediately following the service a burial will be held at the E. Skowhegan Cemetery.
