Madeline F. Robinson

Madeline A. Robinson, 91, of Canaan, died Sunday, October 31, 2021. She was born October 20, 1930 in Canaan, daughter of Benjamin and Susie (Ames) Fitzgerald. She married Andrew S. Robinson on October 21, 1948.

Madeline was one of the founders of the Canaan Ladies Firemen’s Auxiliary and served on it for many years. She enjoyed camping, gardening, traveling, and most of all spending time with family.

Andrew S. Robinson was the love of her life. They had three sons, Steve, Mike, and Jeff and one daughter Kelly. She was predeceased by her loving husband in 2000.

Her family legacy includes Steven Robinson and his wife Bianca, of Canaan, Michael Robinson Sr. and his wife Paula of Canaan, Jeffrey Robinson and wife Maggie of North Berwick, and Kelly White and her

companion Jason of Fairfield. Her 12 grandchildren, Randi, Hazen & Alicia, Travor & Shelea, Nyssa & Chris, Steven, John, Michael Jr & Jenelle, Joey, Jenilynn & Chuck, Timothy & Jody, Jeffrey and Patrick and her 12 Great Grandchildren, MaKayla, Hailey, Andrew, Dora, Albin, Lexis, Jacob, Brayden, Wyatt, Sadie, Madelyn and Ensley. She is also survived by her sister, Goldie Salisbury, and a brother Emery Fitzgerald.

Heaven gained an Angel but she is with hers!
