Marion A Berry

Marion “Mary Ann” A. Berry, 92, of Skowhegan, Maine, passed away on November 9, 2013, in Skowhegan, Maine.

She was born January 13, 1921 in Madison, Maine, the daughter of Fred Allain and Eleanor (Poirier) Allain.

Marion graduated from Madison High School in 1940.

She married Richard Berry who predeceased her.

Marion worked for the Maine department of Human Services as a secretary and she also working as a secretary at a legal firm in Florida and several other secretarial jobs over the years.

She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Marion was a very religious person.

She is survived by her two brothers; Frank Allain of Madison and Ernest Allain and his wife Janice of Augusta, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday November 15, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Main Street, Madison, Maine, burial to follow at the St. Sebastian Cemetery in Madison.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
