

She was born on July 31, 1945, in Madison, the daughter of John F. Ventresco and Leora (Bulduc) Ventresco.
She was educated in Madison schools.
She worked at Mac's Taxi in Skowhegan as a dispatcher for several years. She spent most of her life as a homemaker.
She was a member of Priscilla Rebekah Lodge 69 in Skowhegan for 21 years and was a past Noble Grande, and she was a member Somerset Ladies Axillary 26 in Skowhegan for 14 years and was a Patriarch Militant, and she was in the American Legion Post in Skowhegan.
Nancy loved playing bingo in Athens every Thursday night, and playing bingo at the recreation center in Skowhegan. She enjoyed playing cards, especially poker, and hanging out at home with her cat Morgan. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by six children, John Ventresco, of Skowhegan, Tammy Steward, of Tennessee, Carroll Steward Jr., of Skowhegan, Wendell Steward, of Torrington, Conn., Dwayne Steward and his wife, Janice, of Clinton, and Sherry White and her husband, Terry, of Skowhegan; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; three sisters, Loretta Hanle, and her husband, Charles, of Madison, June Black, of Blue Hill, and Jenny Wilman, of Florida; two uncles; and dear friend Ernestine McMillan.
She was predeceased by her mother and father; one daughter, Rebecca Steward; and one sister, Theoraine Coro, and her husband, Carroll C. Steward Sr.
There will be a graveside service held later in the spring at St. Sebastian Cemetery in Madison.
