Patricia Leeann Higgins

She was born December 28, 1954 in Waterville, Maine, the daughter of Armond Grivois and Stella (Bradford) Grivois.

At fifty years old Patricia received her high school diploma.

She married her soul mate Hardy “Dick” Higgins on June 11, 1994 in Athens, Maine.

She started working at Solon Manufacturing in Solon, then transferred to Solon Manufacturing in Skowhegan and worked as an inspector for 20 years; she then went too worked at Wal-Mart in Skowhegan as a baker for 11 years.

Patricia loved cooking for the holidays especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. She loved the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband Hardy “Dick” Higgins of Athens, her two children; Terrie Randall and her husband James of Bangor, Tina Lunn of Fairfield, her sister Ramona Sawyer and her husband Phil of St. Albans, her two brothers; John Grivois and his wife Becky of Maine, Scott Grivois and his wife Terry of Maine, five grandchildren; Jenifer and Tyler Hunt, Timothy, Matthew and Michael Lunn, one great-grandchild Isabella Lunn, many nieces, nephews and cousins, her brother-in-law Brian Higgins and his wife Laurie of Standish.

She was predeceased by her father Armond, her brothers; Daniel, Ricky, Timothy, and Steven Grivois.

A graveside service will be held on Friday November 21, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at the Mount Rest Cemetery in Athens, Maine with the Rev. Mark Tanner officiating.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
