

He was born June 6, 1959 in Skowhegan, Maine, the son of Joe and Gail (Sirois) Savoy.
Tim was a 1977 graduate of Madison High School and went to work directly after as a Madison bus driver and custodian.
Tim had a passion for all high school sports, especially watching his nieces Jessica and Samantha play basketball, and following his nephew Michael’s placement in golf. He enjoyed horse betting with his father and best friend Al, afternoon cribbage games with Bob and Brandon, Friday nights at Ken’s, Sunday family dinners at his sister Vanessa and brother in-law’s house, holiday gatherings, and he just loved joy rides to friends and family houses to visit and he would give his back for his nephew, nieces and great niece.
He was a communicant at the St. Sebastian Catholic Church where he became a Knight of Columbus; he was also a member of the Skowhegan/ Madison Elk’s Lodge.
He is survived by his parents Joe and Gail Savoy, his sisters Cynthia Savoy, Vanessa Bruce and her husband Randy , uncle David Savoy, his nephew Michael Bruce and his fiancé Michelle Ingalls, nieces; Jessica and Samantha Bruce, great niece Lexus Bruce, his best friends Al and Debbie Veneziano, and Larry and Linda-Jo Andrews.
He was predeceased by his grandfather and grandmothers, William and Gladys Savoy and Percy and Rena Sirois.
The family would like to thank the Alfond Cancer Center, Maine Medical Center in Portland, and Dr. Quinn and associates.
Viewing hours will be held on Friday July 29, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 6, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Main Street, Madison, Maine, with burial to follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery in Madison.
