Vernard Edward Elliott Jr.

He was born July 21, 1952 in Skowhegan, Maine, the son of Vernard E. Sr. and Arlie (Spencer) Elliott.

He graduated from Skowhegan High School.

He was self-employed in Skowhegan with an electronic repair business. He worked for Lyons Music and vending in Skowhegan as an electronics repairman.

He loved to play cards especially cribbage, he enjoyed looking at the stars through his telescope, he was a sci-fi fanatic, he enjoyed playing p.c. games on his computer and visit people he loved and playing musical instruments.

He is survived by his three sisters, Sherry, Lucy, Linda and her husband Christian and his best friend Donna Holmes as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday December 5, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. A burial will be held in the spring at the Southside Cemetery in Skowhegan, Maine.
