

She was born on December 27, 1927 in Madison, the daughter of Edward J. Richard and Delma M. (Willette) Richard.
She graduated from Madison Memorial High School, class of 1946.
She married Antonio Gallant on January 4, 1947 in Madison. He died on August 7, 1987.
She spent most of her life as a homemaker, and she loved raising her family.
She liked to line dance, enjoyed crocheting, loved being outside in her yard and taking pride in caring for her property.
She is survived by her three children; Ronald Gallant and his wife Christine, of Anson, Edward Gallant and his wife Diane, of Norridgewock, Patricia Rea and her husband James, of Titusville, Fl. Three sisters, Phyllis Briggs and her husband Douglas, of Gray, Ann Marie McCarthy and her husband Leland, of Madison, Jeannette Arsenault of Madison. Seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by one son, Richard Gallant, one great granddaughter, Amy Gallant, three sisters, Yvette Richard, Lorraine Dugas,and Marjorie Berard, three brothers, Aurel Richard, Omer Richard, Hubert Richard.
A graveside service will be held on Friday September 8, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Calvary Cemetery, North Ave., Skowhegan, ME.
