He is survived by his loving wife, Violet Dunbar of Smithville,Texas, four children, Debora Dunbar and her husband Jeff Draine of Wallingford, Pennsylvania, Charles W. Dunbar, III of Raymond, New Hampshire, Kimberly Whitmore and her husband Jonathan of Danvers, Massachusetts, William Dunbar of North Weare, New Hampshire, one sister, Jean Kelty of Lynn Massachusetts and four grandchildren, Benjamin, Isaac, Leah Rose and Emily.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Charles Dunbar, Jr. at 11:00 am on Friday, September 9, 2011 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Smithville, Texas.
