

U. S. Air Force Retired
John Lee Kinser, 73, of Austin, TX passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012. John was born in Okmulgee, OK on July 21, 1938. He was the son of Sybil & Howard Kinser.
John enlisted in the U. S. Air Force in 1955 at the young age of 17. He served as a “Boom Operator”, performing in-flight refueling on KB-29, KC-97 and KC-135 aircrafts.
After retiring from the Air Force in 1975, John attended Austin Community College, majoring in Computer Programming. He also went on to receive an Associate of Applied Science degree in Real Estate in 1979 and subsequently received a salesman license and later a broker’s license from the State of Texas.
John is survived by his wife of 47 years, Henry Mae (Perkins) Kinser; daughter, Kimberly Kay Lawrence of Austin; stepson, Kenneth James Kutalek and wife Shannon of Bastrop; stepdaughter Elizabeth Fulton and husband Robert of Georgetown; and stepson Jeffrey Kutalek and wife Sally of Austin, along with 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation 9 – 10 AM with funeral services following, Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home, Smithville, with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, Smithville, TX.
