John Garcia Salas, 63 of Pasadena, passed on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. He was born November 24, 1951 in El Campo, TX to Barbara (Garcia) and Lucas Salas, Sr.
He was raised in Smithville, TX but moved to Pasadena, TX where he raised his children and built his life. He was a loving Son, Father, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and Friend who always had them laughing.
John is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, Olivia Salas of Pasadena and Stephen Salas and wife Hollie, of League City and their children Sienna and Luka Salas. Also remembering John are his sister, Tommie Rains of Austin and brother Lucas Salas, Jr. of Richmond.
Visitation from 6 PM to 8 PM with Rosary at 7 PM, Friday, July 17, 2015 at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home, Smithville.
Funeral Mass is 10 AM, Saturday, July 18, 2015 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Smithville, TX.
