Mildred is survived by her husband of 69 years, Sonny Veenstra of Smithville, son, Van Veenstra of Kinglsand , grandsons, Eric Veenstra of Cypress, Adam Veenstra and his wife Diann and their son, Evan all of Spring.
A celebration of Mildred’s life will be at 3:00pm Friday, September 5, 2014 at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home in Smithville, Texas. A private family burial will take place at the Wharton City Cemetery.
