David "Larry" Anderson

David Lawrence "Larry" Anderson passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on December 10, 2011. Larry was born in Tempe, AZ July 28, 1949 to Malcolm and June Anderson. His childhood was spent in Walla Walla, WA where he graduated from Walla Walla High School and Junior College. He attended the University of Washington Boiler Engineering School where he earned his Level 1 Boiler's License. Larry was a dedicated, hard working engineer for Providence Everett Medical Center for the past 22 years. He took pride in his work, willingly helped anyone and was always a team player. Larry had a passion for gardening and growing plants, he enjoyed traveling with his wife and was always ready for the next football or baseball game. Larry's contagious smile and friendly nature will always be remembered and cherished. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Corene; his daughter, Megan Fletcher; his mother, June Anderson; sisters, Mary Saranto (Dave), Dorothy Mehrer (Dick) and Linda Bogart; brother, Leslie Anderson; numerous nieces; and nephews; and many other beloved family members and friends, including his ever loving cats, Currie and Abbie. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Anderson. Larry was comforted by his commitment to the Lord with recent help and guidance from Pastor Tim of the Seventh Day Adventists Church in Everett, WA. In honor of Larry's wishes, no service will be held. A family gathering to celebrate Larry's life will be held at a later date. A special thanks to the Providence Regional Cancer Partnership staff, Dr, Elie Saikaly and Jovanna Jacobson for their compassion and excellent care. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Providence Hospice (425) 261-4822 or a charity of your choice .

Arrangements under the direction of Bauer Funeral Chapel, Snohomish, WA.

Larry was always so pleasant and helpful to us here in the Pavilion, or just in general- anywhere he was. If you needed help, he was there. We could count on Larry every time.
Our thoughts and prayer's go out to his family, friends, and all the Providence co-worker's who had opportunities to work beside him. We will think of him often and remember him always as one of the crew and family members here at PRMCE.

I will always remember Larry's wonderful laugh and the gang's Fridays at Tampico. We would often see both Larry and Corene walking through the neighborhoods of north Everett on their regular constitutionals. Larry's kindness and his willingness to help others will always be remembered. My thoughts are with Corene and his family.
