His beloved wife of 59 years, Larrie Ann Clark, preceded him in death as did his brother Howard Clark of San Jose, CA and his parents James and Anna Clark of Winlock, WA.
Don graduated from Winlock High School in 1950, where he was elected student body president, received a perfect 4.0 GPA, and captained the school’s football, basketball, and baseball teams. He attended Willamette College in Oregon and graduated from the State College of Washington in 1957 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Don lived in Snohomish for 58 years during which time he and Larrie Ann were very active members of the Snohomish United Methodist Church. They devoted significant time and talents to the church, which was a major part of their lives. Don served as an Elder in the church and, as a long-time devoted choir member, gifted the congregation with his beautiful singing voice. He often led church groups on hikes into the Cascade mountains, which was where he most loved to be.
A memorial service to celebrate Don’s life will be held on Friday, March 23rd at 3:00 pm at the United Methodist Church, 2400 Lake Avenue, Snohomish 98290.
