Myrna and Cousins: I didn't know Uncle Doug real well, but I do have a favorite memory of him I'll share with you. It was at the family reunion held on Vashon Island in the early 90's. The Tomoson "brothers" were sharing a typical moment of "one ups man ship" on Tim and Sherri's back porch. The discussion was over the color of some car that grandpa T had owned. Well, after a few beers (by the way they didn't need beer to act silly)Doug, Leroy,Ronny,Dad(Albert)and Mike all spent 20 minutes arguing over what color the car was. The 4 older bro's each picked "their" color and the donnybrook was on! After the 20 or so minutes were up, they just stopped!  After a short pause, they all burst into laughter, as did I! I will never forget that moment. It was their way of saying they loved and cared about each other. As our family has lost yet another of the "Boys", we all feel the loss!! Doug was always very kind to me, as were all my Uncles.  May God grant you (and all of us) peace and nothing but joyful memories of Doug! God Bless you!

Myrna and Family: I just wanted to say that I have great sympathy for your loss. Doug was always the Uncle that Chuck and I looked forward to spending time with when you came back for the reunions.  His great outlook on life and his quick smile always made me feel good.  He will be missed by all of us. Love and prayers.

Wayne and family I am so sorry to hear of your dads passing. After losing my dad last year after a long illness, I know that it is a very difficult time right now for your family. Please know that I am keeping you in my thoughts and sending you all hugs at your time of great sorrow.
