You know who this is.  We  go 'WAY back, and there is a huge hole in my heart knowing you are  gone. Far too young. I have always loved you and always will.

I miss you Ed! I’m celebrating your birthday, remembering all of the good times and laughs we’ve had together over the years.

I knew Ed over the last few years only from his role as the karaoke host at Hunan Palace in Everett.  Just in knowing him in that role, I believe he will be sorely missed for his kindness, integrity, talent for singing, and for his passion to host karaoke shows.  I know I will miss him.  I am grateful for Ed and how he valued the format of karaoke music and his singers.  In my opinion,  he really honored karaoke shows as legitimate opportunities for amateurs like me to sing in front of others with the same potential for impacting  listeners as can occur when listening to singers in a live band, in musical theater, or to singers via CDs or iTunes who have recorded as professional recording artists.  Trying to help prepare me, he would sometimes give me pointers on how to be more expressive when I sang in singing contests at Hunan; and he would offer genuine praise  when he thought I did a good job. Ed had a good tenor singing voice and liked to have fun when he sang.  All of this would maximize the joy of singing karaoke and being at his show.  I am guessing there are possibly hundreds of other karaoke singers and restaurant / bar patrons who have had similarly wonderful experiences with Ed as their karaoke host. And as I remember him, I plan to ask the Lord to grant comfort and  peace to  Ed's family and friends, as they remember him and are grieving his passing.

We met Ed while judging the karaoke contests at Evergreen State Fairgrounds.  He was a joy to be around.  We always talked about the dogs, karaoke and our mutual friends.  We’ll miss his smile, hugs and conversations.  Rest In Peace Ed.
To the family, we hope your memories will help heal the pain in the future.  God Bless you.

Ed has been a fun and loyal friend for twenty two years. I will miss his friendly smile and enthusiasm for karaoke. He was a gentle soul who cared deeply for his friends and pets. He was a part of many joyous celebrations over the years. May he rest peacefully, surrounded by the music he loved.

Our Black Sheep ice hockey team comes out every Friday after our games and have since 2013 to Hunan. 
We were so very sad to hear about the passing of Ed. Such a kind man who was always so happy and happily put up with our sub par singing skills at the karaoke he ran. He was just happy to hear us sing. 
You will be missed Ed. 

Met you Ed about 28 yrs ago.  You've always been an incredible friend with the warmest heart and caring for everyone.
You will be missed so much.
