Still missing you Fran, its been 3 years ago today that we lost you. Still miss those phone calls we had every week catching up on what was going on with each other.  Aunt Fran, you were a special woman and one of a kind person. You were one of the hardest working people I know, even in your sixties and seventies you could out work most 20 year olds.  I am so glad you were apart of my life; I wish you were around a little bit longer so my boys could know you better. You will be missed very much!!

Fran was my sister in law for forty one years and like a sister to me! We always got together for family birthdays and holidays and talked on the phone two or three nights a week and every Saturday morning. She was loved by our family. So many memories of her flood my mind and they make me smile and some make me laugh out loud! Fran you will be missed but never forgotten those who knew you will always carry you in their hearts. I love you Fran!

    I'm at a loss for words, but I will give a try.
    I will miss you my Friend.  The world is less off with out you, and may Heaven great you with open arms.
      You were a great neighbor.  I will miss brutus to.
       The animals, the flowers, and the smell of country. You city folk would of loved it. 
       Over the years of being with her she taught us so much.  My sister Sonya and I have great stories. 
    The one I will share is going to the river us 3 plus one dog.  Sounds normal right but how many of you have seen Frany in cut off blue gene denim shorts. Those white legs were a site to see. 
     She was a fine lady full of life.
To her family and close friends I send my heart with love for your loss.

This is really hard to write about my closest friend, sister I never had and my cousin. We did everything together since we were little kids. Especially with the horses. She either came over to my place or I would be over at hers. She gave me a horse the day he was born and eventually I traded him back to her for another she had raised. Skooky fit her better than me. I live in Seabeck and we would take our vacations together ride the horse trails in Tahuya forest in Mason County while the wild rhodedendrons were in bloom in May. We would be out in the middle of nowhere and Fran would raise her arms to the sky and just have the biggest smile on her face looky looky she would say! She was in her glory! We also planned a vacation in July to spend at the horsecamp with so many mutual friends for a campout. I am so glad she got to go as much as she was able too. She did bring her horses over for that a couple years and would ride mine the rest of the time. 
I chuckle at several of the comments, yes she was exactly as everyone remembers and more. We talked on the phone twice a week and boy is that hard not getting a call on Tuesdays and I would call on Friday. 
The picture I am posting is of Fran riding her first horse Babe and me on my Navajo way back in 1962 on a ride in Snohomish County. We even rode in the Strawberry Festival in Marysville that year.
Hardest working person I ever knew. Loved Fran very much. RIP

Fran was one of those great people you are lucky enough to have in your life.  I thank you for so many times when we would hang out in the yard and talk.  You were a wonderful inspiration to me and i am ever so grateful that i grew up with you in my life and continued to have you in my life through the rest.  Thank you so much Franny for all that you did and being there always, you were one of the best:)

The loss of another amazing woman! She lived her life for her numerous horses, ducks, cats, dogs, chickens......etc. She was also one of the strongest people I knew, literally! She could chop wood and bale hay just like any man! My Brothers and I were lucky enough to meet her when we were younger. She gave us odd jobs, chopping wood, dig bugs for the ducks, taught us to clean stalls, saddle and ride her horses,and I even got her famous cherry crunch recipe from her :) I remember many nights getting all the work done, doing her lotto numbers, eating dinner and watching The Man from Snowy River on her old RCA Video Disc Player. (the movies were the size of records) One of my favorite memories was when she asked me to go to horse camp with her, I was so excited! We loaded up the horses took them on a ferry and off we went! Fun Fun Fun! I remember all the fun rides we went on. I usually always rode Dawn while she had Pacer! I remember being chased by coyotes on one of our rides way back in the woods lol. I wish I would have stayed in touch through the years, but Franny will be forever in my memories. She made those years of my childhood unforgettable. RIP Franny <3

Fran was the best neighbor/friend a person could wish for. Whether it was helping with my animals, helping split wood, or donating horse manure (!), she was always a trooper. I just hope that Fran gives the man upstairs an earful about the weather. He never seemed to get it quite right for her! You will be sorely missed, Fran.

Known Fran for years by her cousin Gloria, she was a old soul,funny,hard worker always complaining aout the weather,very good cook went to the family picnics for the last several years. I'll miss her for sure.God Bless Pat

Fran was brought into our lives by her cousin Gloria Stuart.  We rode many horse trail rides together.  She always made me laugh with some of her words toward the horse she was riding.  We had many campfires together.  When I see Pepsi, I think of her.  I did finally see her beautiful rhodies, which she knew everyname.  Happy trails my friend.

I worked with Fran at Scott Paper and Kimberly Clark for many years.  She was one terrific lady.  We had many fun times together at work and at her place. If anyone needed help she was always there to give a hand. Our prayers go out to Jenny, Bill, Shirley and the rest of the family at this time. No more chopping wood  Fran. You can rest in peace now. I work with Frannie as I called her at good old kimberly Clark.She was fun to work with and we all loved her. She loved her horses more than life.I am sorry that I never kept in touch with her after after retirement.

It's been a blessing to have had a dear friend in my life like Fran. She was always there for me during the hard times I went through with the loss of my wife. 
I will always Remember her for her flowers and animals. I will miss helping her get fire wood in each year and talking about our love for our gardens. How she loved her PT  cruiser. She was a true friend...
