I just saw that Geoff passed. My heart breaks for Marion and the Snohomish community. He was so full of life and I truly loved him and Marion. I did their hair for over 15 years I will truly miss Geoffrey! My heart is broken
See you again Geoffery! Much love and support to you Marion.

Geoff was a character. Every town needs a few. i loved his energy and enthusiasm to have fun and be a part of the community. He offered something different and regularly tried to get "new" things going - if not in the traditional way. I never thought his "pimps and hos" night would be a success. He was smart and straightforward and was welcoming to everyone.

Marion is a sweetheart and a great cook - they are genuine and hard working. So sad that Marion didn't have some advance warning of how serious his illness was - but that is life. Medicine is still so much art and detective work.
Geoff you are so missed.

I played on the Federal Old Line First Division team with Geoff. I was only 19 years old but I will never forget how he took me under his wing and guided me that first year we played together. He was a great mentor, a strong competitor, a loyal teammate, and someone who never left anything on the field he played all out every game. The lessons he taught me have stayed with me for a lifetime. His passion for the game and his teammates was unforgettable. I still have the song he made up for our team in my memory..."bless them all, bless them all, Bardolini, McArdle and Wall, bless little Joe who blocks out the wing, bless Brian Figgens the penalty king..." God bless you Geoff and thanks for the memories and the lessons you taught me.

In 1970 - my first year in Seattle - Geoff was one of the first soccer denizens I met at Denzil’s soccer store. I, soon, learned to appreciate not only his passion for the game but his zeal to see soccer grow to the level where it would be a household word. That dream would come true in his lifetime. I even came to appreciate both his love and irreverence for life! He was/is worthy of the title LEGEND - both in Seattle, the state of Washington, the northwest, and, wherever he laced up to grace The Great Game!
