I'm so very sorry to hear of Helen's passing. So many memories I hold dear of this wonderful sweet lady. Our mishaps at cooking, years of fun working at GTE, sticky bums and that strawberry jam. Must not forget the long talks on flowers and Minn. dirt a must have. I still hold that little baggy a treasure from your trip home. Melissa has seen many butterflies in the garden and I believe they were sent by the kind most loving person who stepped into my life years ago. Thank you. I will truly miss you. You were my very best friend. Lovingly called my little mad professor.

Oh Lisa, she was such a fabulous lady!  I loved seeing her at the girls soccer and basketball games.  She was the ultimate fan.  She loved you so much.  You were a wonderful daughter to her. She'll always be watching over you.

Helen was like a second mother to the Gans kids in Mukilteo! She was always so sweet and kind to us kids and quite patient! My thoughts and prayers are with you, Joan and Lisa. Know that she's home and having a grand time with my mom, who also thought the world of Helen. God bless and keep the whole family at this difficult time.

I'm sorry to hear about Helens passing. I've known her all my life, and she will be missed. What a dear, dear lady.

I was so lucky to have been a part of Helens extended family.. Such a sweet lady.
 My prayers and thoughts are with you all..Joan,Lisa,Carrie,Stevie,Josh and the rest of the family.

So heartbreaking to know you had to let such a lovely lady so full of grace move on.  
I always admired her quiet compassion and presence, always there with a smile and a hug, or a squeeze of one's hand.
 Loved seeing her at church...and more so, so many years ago the caring compassion she had towards my Mom in her last days.
One can only imagine all the wonderful memories she has left you with.
Thinking of you all, especially you Lisa  She truly will be a guardian angel in heaven for us all

auntie helen always had a smile and a kind word, even when i was a little pill she always would say oh sonny. i never heard a bad word or anything negative about a single person and always loved her cooking and smile. you will be missed and live on for ever in memory, sorry for your loss Joan and lisa. all the things she taught and belived live on thru you girls and kids. just a wonderfull family.
