James William Holt

June 23, 1938-March 13, 2015 Jim Holt, age 76, died on March 13, 2015 surrounded by his family following an ongoing illness. Jim was born on June 23, 1938 in Portland, Oregon before moving to Snohomish. He attended Snohomish schools and graduated from Snohomish High School in 1956. After working at General Telephone, Boeing and retiring from Physio Control in Redmond, Jim was off to do the things he loved. He was an avid hunter, loved to fish, hike or anything that took him out of doors. Off-road cars were a passion of his especially racing them and later just working on and building cars. Retirement was invented for Jim. He made full use of his time and loved helping others. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Evelyn Holt of Sedro Woolley and his brother, Doug of Woodinville. He is survived by his wife, Jane of 57 years; his daughter Cindy and son Craig (Evonne); grand-children, Ryan, Brandon, Sara; and one great granddaughter, Neveah; his sister, Kathy Wigal of LaConner; many nephews and nieces. He was loved by many. A celebration of life is being planned for April 11, 2015 at the Barn on Jordan Trails Road at 2:00 p.m
