Dearest Girard Family - We were so, so very saddened to hear the news of this tragic loss.  We are out of town but would love to be at the memorial, as would Connor (he lives in MT currently). We are so beyond grieved at this devastating loss of such a wonderful man, husband, father and friend. Having grown up with the girls I remember him well from social and church functions. You are forever in our heart, thoughts and prayers. We never know why and live on with treasured memories of the time and legacy you left behind. Julie, Judy, Therm and girls we are so sorry for your loss.

What can I say. I am crushed. I waited to long between calls and now I cant call. You are the reason I am sober. You are the reason I have hope. I respected you so much because you walked your talk. Julie and the girls were so blessed to have the time they had with you but that is little comfort now considering the time they don't have but expected to have. Lowie, you were supposed to share Weddings  and Grandchildren with Julie. Its just not what I expected. So many are now deprived  your life force. God took you home, it was his will, but in our hearts you live on still. A better friend one could not be. Julie, girls, I am so very very sorry for your loss. I just heard thirty minutes ago and am still in shock so I hope this makes sense.  As Kelli Arends said, May your memories bring you comfort. I assure you they will in time. For now allow yourself to grieve as your loss is great. I look forward to the day I see your smiling face again Lowie.
