Leona McDaniel, born November 25, 1916 in Shawnee, WY, passed to her eternal home on January 29, 2013 in Snohomish, WA. Leona was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She leaves a legacy of hospitality, hard work, love of children, and service.
Leona was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon McDaniel. She is survived by her 2 daughters and son, Joann Johnson (Carl), Geraldine Johnson (Walt), and Bob McDaniel (Karolyn); 8 grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Burial will be Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at 3:00 PM . A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Snohomish Cross View Church (formerly the Free Methodist Church) at 604 Ave. C East, Snohomish, WA.
