Marcia Dolores Kasch

Marcia Dolores (Hoff) Kasch was born August 3, 1940 in Dearborn, MI to parents, Paul and Dorothy Hoff. She passed away March 2, 2017 after a long illness. Her family moved to Everett, WA in 1944. After marriage, she lived in Lake Stevens, WA then over 45 years in Snohomish, WA. Marcia graduated from Everett High School in 1958, and attended Everett Junior College. She was a Latin American Dance Instructor, an active PTA mom, and loved her years as leader of the Skyline Riders Horse 4-H Club in the 70's. Marcia worked for Snohomish County Solid Waste Division for many years, working her way up to supervisor. Marcia was loved by many. She cherished her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was known for her strong and courageous spirit, her generosity and positive outlook, throwing big family dinners, her love of horses and the kids who rode them -- and 50's music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Kasch; son-in-law, Jerry Rodeffer; and brother-in-law, Ronald Griffin. She is survived by her children, Lynnae Rodeffer, Terri Carlson (Gary) and Chris Kasch (Joanne), all of Snohomish; as well as grandchildren, Jeanesse (Rob) Miller, Danielle (Dom) Arnett, Tara Arnett, Daryn Kasch, Kramer Carlson, Janelle Kasch, Shannon Rodeffer; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Dorraine (Dodie) Griffin of Marysville, WA; brothers, Bernie (Margaret) Hoff, and Bruce (Beverly) Hoff, both of Snohomish; as well as several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., at Cross View Church, 604 Avenue C, Snohomish, WA 98290, with a reception following. Marcia was extremely grateful for the wonderful care, love and support she received from the staff at Providence Regional Cancer Partnership, as well as the staff at Haggen Pharmacy in Snohomish.
