Margaret Alice Kay Donaldson died on 22 Sep 2020. She was married to Max Albert Donaldson who died shortly thereafter on 16 Oct 2020. Both had been living in an assisted-living home in Monroe, Washington. Marty was born in Michigan on 8 May 1938 and was a daughter of Robert Archibald Henderson Kay (1906-1990) and Shirley Avis Bartley Kay (1912-1989). She had two sisters (Kathryn Avis Kay (1940-2010) and Lorna Kay). Marty did not have any children.
Marty attended and graduated from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor receiving a BA in elementary education in June 1960. She was a 3rd grade teacher at San Diego’s Stevenson Elementary School for many years. From San Diego, she and her husband moved to Seattle (abt 1978) and she worked for Boeing on the B2 Stealth bomber (a job that was not discussed by her until much later in time).
Marty’s husband Max was an electrical engineer who also worked for Boeing for much of his career. They resided in Snohomish, Washington.
