Maxine was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ where she taught Kindergarten classes for many years.
She was a Campfire, Bluebird and Cub Scout den mother. She was an excellent homemaker and gardener.
Maxine is proceeded in death by her husband of 42 years, Wm. Howard Bettis; her eldest daughter Kathy Lea Anderson of Renton; beloved grandson John H. Anderson; and her son-in-law Bill Pangburn.
She is survived by her twin sister Loreen Thomas of Pasco; her daughter Audra (Wolfgang) Barby of Mukilteo; Nancy (Rick) Nicolet of Snohomish; and son Gary H. Bettis of Snohomish.
A celebration of life will be held on May 29th at 2 PM in Pasco, Washington.
