Merry Rae Goshorn

Merry was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Earl H. Goshorn; daughter Candace, son Bryan, and grandson Joel; sister Ardelle.

Merry and Earl lived in Lake Stevens and raised their family overlooking the lake back in the 60's when they were one of few families living full time there. She retired from Bethany of the NW after 30 years of service in the Human Resources Dept. and served on the board of the Everett Lions Club. She enjoyed her kids and grandkids overall and loved sitting around the pool watching all the kids and their friends play. She was a fierce pinochle and cribbage player and always gave a sly grin to her opponents.

Merry is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Earl Goshorn Jr. (Susan) of Snohomish, Eric Goshorn (Julie) of Pahrump, NV; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Lynn Sandlin (Neil) of Snohomish; granddaughter Sarah Lee (Alex) and great-grandson Jaxon. She also leaves her beloved niece Laurie Ashenbrenner (Rick) and nephew Curt Kern (Debbie) who were like children to her.

At her request and to honor her wishes, there will be no services held.
