Jane was born December 9, 1940 to Ivan & Mildred Dickinson. She attended Wisconsin State University, WhiteWater, graduating in 1963 with a Bachelor’s in Teaching, certified to teach 1-6th grade. She was a member of Alpha Gama Delta Sorority. Her first teaching position was in the Milwaukee school system.
Jane married Ralph H Boldt on May 24, 1972. They resided in Snohomish, WA, having built their dream house there. Jane taught in the Shoreline School District for 24 years, retiring in 2001. She enjoyed teaching children in the Headstart program.
Jane loved reading her Bible; bird watching including naming the birds; watching the Mariners, Seahawks, the NBA and NASCAR racing, Hallmark movies and eating at Anthony’s in Everett where she and Ralph knew so many of the staff by first names! Over the years, Jane and Ralph attended various Lutheran churches.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother, and her husband. Survivors include step-brother, Joe Dickinson (Susan) of Elk, WA; nephew, Paul Dickinson (Brenda) and four daughters of Arlington, WA, niece, Lisa Thompson (Craig) and two children of Caribou, Maine, niece, Carolyn Neiswender (Ken) of Selah, WA and niece, Nancy O’Shea (Brendan) of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Private Burial and interment service will be held in Snohomish, WA at the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery on May 4, 2021
