Robert Lee Thomas, age 82, a resident of Lake Stevens, Washington, passed away on Wednesday, November 7th, 2018 at Providence Regional Center in Everett. He was born February 21th, 1956 in Tacoma, Washington. He was a graduate of Puyallup High School. He was interested in Electronics. He built a radio in a lunch box. He Joined the Navy after high school.
He married Wanda on June 5th, 1957, in Springfield, Oregon. They moved to Washington and he started his career with Boeing as a coordinator and worked there for 33 years without missing a single day. He retired at age 57 and enjoyed life to the fullest. The simple pleasures of camping, volunteering, visiting relatives and friends and of course his love for gardening and working in the garage.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wanda, son, Darold and his wife Angela, daughter, Linda, brothers, Roger and Stanley, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He had a special bond with his half-brother Don who passed away before him. Robert Lee will be missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
On Friday November 16th, 2018 a viewing (9:00-11:00 a.m.) and a funeral service (11:30a.m.-12:30 p.m.) will be held at Bauer Funeral Chapel followed with a grave-side service at G.A.R. (12:30 p.m.) and a reception at Bauer Funeral Chapel (1:30 p.m.).
