God's peace and comfort to Ruth's family and friends.

In loving memory of Ruth Peterson--a dear saint who has been welcomed into her eternal Heavenly Home by Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for whom she faithfully served throughout her life.  I will forever give thanks to God for the blessings of Ruth in my life--as a teacher in children's ministries at Sparta Baptist Church (first teaching me when I was a child and then working alongside me when I became an adult), as a neighbor who always welcomed my visits, as a special friend to my family including my aunt, my grandmother, and especially my mother.  Ruth helped my mother through the final illness and death of my father as did my mother when Ruth faced the same challenge with her husband Harry.  I can only imagine the joyful reunion that is taking place in Heaven right now with Ruth, Harry, my parents and grandmother, and all those whose lives Ruth touched throughout the years.  Even when Ruth moved to Washington, she stayed in touch with me through cards, phone calls, and prayers.  Ruth was a true prayer warrior who loved and cared for so many people especially children.  God surely welcomed Ruth to Heaven as His good and faithful servant.  While I will miss her greatly, I will look forward with anticipation to that glorious day of reunion in Heaven with all of our loved ones.
