Samantha "Hope" Louise Maynard

Samantha Louise Maynard, 23 years old, of Snohomish Washington, passed into Heaven on Saturday, June 27th 2015. A loving caring and unselfish daughter, “Hope” as she was known to her friends was born on March 13th 1992 in Arlington, Texas to the proud parents of Jeff and Ann Maynard, whom she is survived by along with her brothers Joshua and Justin and her sister Jordan, she is also survived by her grandparents Jim and Betty Maynard and Walter Schmitz and her uncle Paul Schmitz and aunts Karen Maynard and Stephania Denno, along with Blake Maynard and Heather Denno her two loving cousins. She is preceded into Heaven by her grandmother Patricia Schmitz and her granduncle Lynn Fite.

Samantha was a 2011 graduate of Glacier Peak High School of Snohomish Washington and was attending Cascadia Community College in her pursuit of becoming a Forensic Anthropologist, a dream that she had long set her sights on. She was an accomplished writer and enjoyed all forms of literature especially poetry, her other passion was her lifelong love of Softball which she played throughout her life. Her smile and laugh could light up any room and her giving spirit never wavered, volunteering at an early age and continuing throughout her life, culminating as an organ and tissue donor upon her death.

The world is a much sadder, lonelier place that will forever be at a loss of such a promising young woman, words cannot adequately convey the loss of Samantha to all those that loved her, especially her parents, her courage and strength during her brief illness reinforced forever the pride and joy they took in having Samantha as their daughter, no parents could ever be more proud of a child, their sorrow and hurt will last forever as will their cherished memories of her in her all to brief time in their lives.

A small service is scheduled for Saturday, July 11th at 11AM at Bauer Funeral Chapel, 701 First Street Snohomish, Washington, all are welcome to attend and celebrate Samantha’s life and condolences can be sent through www.bauerfuneralchapel.com
